The department has a strong focus on public health pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, pharmacy practice and management, pharmacotherapeutics, and clinical pharmacokinetics. It ensures the delivery of high-quality education that is flexible, stable, reliable, and tailored to meet the needs of individual students and society as a whole. The department is committed to producing research-based graduates who are well-prepared for successful careers in clinical pharmacy practice and beyond.
In 2020, the department expanded its scope by introducing a postgraduate program in logistics and supply chain management. This initiative involved the participation of academic staff from both the department and other departments within the faculty through an exchange program.
