PROF. SUNDAY ODUNKE NDUKA Dean

Prof. Sunday Nduka is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Management at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. He began his academic career in 2011, focusing on clinical pharmacokinetics and health services research. Driven by a passion for improving therapeutic outcomes and patient safety, he has published extensively in reputable journals and mentored numerous students.

In 2012, Dr. Nduka expanded his expertise into Health Logistics and Supply Chain Management, following a nomination by his mentor, Prof. Charles Esimone. He has since become a certified USAID/SCMS/JSI training partner and Supply Chain Analyst (ISCEA), with further training from MIT’s MicroMaster’s program.

He has coordinated logistics and supply chain training for pharmacy students since 2013 and currently leads the university’s new postgraduate program in the field. Dr. Nduka also facilitates workshops and consults on supply chain assessments across several Nigerian states. He holds a B.Pharm (2007), M.Sc. (2010), and Ph.D. (2015) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

 

Dr. Chinelo Kene Ezejiegu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She began her academic career at the university as a Lecturer II on May 4, 2019, and has steadily advanced to her current rank.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in August 2013, a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in March 2018, and most recently, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology in June 2024—all from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Her research interests focus on pharmaceutical biotechnology, antimicrobial resistance, and infectious diseases of parasitic origin.
