Appointed by the Faculty Management, the Sub-Dean provides support to the Dean of the faculty. Dr. Chinelo Kene Ezejiegu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She began her academic career at the university as a Lecturer II on May 4, 2019, and has steadily advanced to her current rank.
She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in August 2013, a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in March 2018, and most recently, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology in June 2024—all from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Her research interests focus on pharmaceutical biotechnology, antimicrobial resistance, and infectious diseases of parasitic origin.
